Vans drops four new Authentics for their Spring ‘09 line. Making up the new drop are four tonal based models which includes royal blue, orange, green and pink. Each Authentic sports a combination of suede and leather to go along with a white base as Vans loves to do. The inner lining features gingham-print with the color corresponding to the main color whether it be royal blue, orange, green or pink with white. Look out for the four Authentics to be available in the near future at Vans retailers.
As much as i hate canvas vans, they look like knock off chuck taylors and provide zero protection for your toes in event of any sort of weather or adverse conditions that would affect how you walk, these new authentics are well, legit. The vans authentic line for spring 2009 is four diffrent colorways of the same shoe, each one a totally diffrent main shade with the same accents. The pink shoe has a different inner liner than the other ones, but you would only know that after taking the shoe off so I count that as the same as the other shoes. If I was going to wear a pair of canvas low tops, it would be these. I think they look a little better than the average chuck taylor and could provide a pretty good look for most outfits when you need a classy shoe that is not too obnoxiously colored
